Property Information Questionnaire (PIQ)

Property Information Questionnaire (PIQ) are mandatory from April 2009.

On the 8th of December (2009, Marget Beckett (Minister For Housing) announced a proposal to improve and simplify the Home Information Pack (HIP). The new Property Information Questionnaire was designed to be completed by sellers without professional help and will provide buyers with useful information about a property.

The PIQ (Property Information Questionnaire) will be similar to the existing Home Use Form (H.U.F.)

The Property Information Questionnaire (PIQ) will include:

• Access arrangements
• Council Tax Band
• Boundaries
• Changes to the property
• Parking
• Damages
• Leasehold information
• Utilities/Services and Providers
